The 5th female Hawfinch ringed at Revtangen BO

Ligth wind from the southeast in the morning, mostly sunny. Nets open 06-12, netmeter hours approx. 2000. Playback on Yellow-browed Warbler, Chiffchaff and Garden Warbler 04.30-08, later on Meadow Pipit and Grey Wagtail. 

Ringed: Meadow Pipit 36, Grey Wagtail 2, Winter Wren 1, Dunnock 4, European Robin 2, Redwing 1, Reed Warbler 1, Garden Warbler 1, Blackcap 16, Chiffchaff 3, Willow Warbler 1, Goldcrest 1, Blue Tit 20, Common Starling 2, Chaffinch 4, Greenfinch 5, HAWFINCH 1. Total = 101, Also 8 controls.

Ringmerket: Heipiplerke 36, vintererle 2, gjerdesmett 1, jernspurv 4, rødstrupe 2, rødvingetrost 1, rørsanger 1, hagesanger 1, munk 16, gransanger 3, løvsanger 1, fuglekonge 1, blåmeis 20, stær 2, bokfink 4, grønnfink 5, KJERNEBITER 1. Total = 101. Også 8 kontroller.

The moth traps produced the third Scarce Bordered Straw so far in September. Pestfagerfly.

Green-brindeled Crescent (Allophyes oxyacanthae) was a new moth species at Revtangen BO in todays catch. Irrfly.
