Revtangen BO September 18th -26th

More unstable weather this last week, with a "light gale" from the NW on the 24th. No ringing on 3-4 days and a few days with "incomplete" ringing sessions. The best day was the 26th with 375 birds, including the first Yellow-browed Warbler in 2021 and the first decent arrival of European Robins with 31 ringed.

4 Commin Redstarts were ringed between the 18th and 22nd. Rødstjert hunn.


Ringed, September 18th-26th: Barn Swallow 5, Tree Pipit 4, Meadow Pipit 6, White Wagtail 3, Grey Wagtail 6, Winter Wren 12, Dunnock 4, Common Redstart 4, European Robin 39, Song Thrush 1, Sedge Warbler 1, Reed Warbler 1, Lesser Whitethroat 1, Garden Warbler 8, Blackcap 42, Willow Warbler 8, YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER 1, Chiffchaff 21, SIBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF 1, Goldcrest 10, Pied Flycatcher 3, Great Tit 2, Blue Tit 9, Common Starling 2, Tree Sparrow 15, House Sparrow 3, Chaffinch 20, Brambling 546, Greenfinch 21, Eurasian Siskin 1, Lesser Redpoll 3, European Goldfinch 2, Reed Bunting 1. Total = 807. Also a control of an adult female Brambling with British ring on the 26th.
